Abstract:
Gastric cancer was one of the common malignancies of the digestive tract, surgical resection was the main treatment, but the postoperative recurrence rate was high. Radiotherapy as an important means to improve the local control rate of gastric cancer had attracted much attention. Although plenty of studies had proved the value of radiotherapy in gastric cancer, there were still a lot of problems to be solved. This article reviewed the timing of radiotherapy in the treatment of gastric cancer, target volume control, the application of new radiotherapy technologies, and immunotherapy combined with radiotherapy, aiming to optimize the treatment mode of gastric cancer and provide clues for the realization of precise and individualized treatment of gastric cancer.
