Abstract: Taking the Journal of Evidence-Based Medicine as an example, this paper discusses the application and practice of extensible markup language (XML) integrated publishing in journal publishing. With the structural and fragmented characteristics of XML, the paper file format generated by XML has higher flexibility, which is convenient for data sharing and dissemination. Based on this, the Journal of Evidence-Based Medicine adopts the XML integrated production management cloud platform to enable the functions of online manuscript typesetting, editing, real-time revision, and network priority publication of single paper. Compared with the traditional publishing mode, it improves the publishing efficiency, digital transmission speed and academic service ability of the journal.
