    Results Analysis of Visible Components of AVE-766 Aivin and Microscopic Examination of Urine

    • Objective To compare the true positive rate, the true negative rate, the false positive rate,the false negative rate of the main parameters of the red blood cells(RBC),the white blood cells(WBC), the CAST, the epithelial cells(ES) in urine, with the re-examination rules for the results of urine routine test in this lab. Method Selecting 1 000 cases of inpatients and outpatients’ morning urine samples; detecting by Urisys 2400 urine dry chemistry analyzer, examining the urine visible components with the UF-1000i urine visible components analyzer, urine AVE-766 tangible composition analyzer, Olympus microscopy; then calculating the true positive rate, false positive rate, true negative rate, false negative rate, and the coincidence rate of the results detected by AVE-766. Results (1) with AVE-766, the RBC’s true positive rate was 100%, and the true negative rate was 99.7%; the false positive rate was 0.3%, the false negative rate was 0%; WBC’s true positive rate was 100%, and the true negative rate was 99.9%; the false positive rate was 0.1%, but the false negative rate was 0%; CAST’s true positive rate was 100%, and the true negative rate was 100%; but the false positive rate was 0%, and the false negative rate was 0%; EC’s true positive rate was 100%; the true negative rate was 100%; the false positive rate was 0%, and the false negative rate was 0%. (2)The coincidence rate for AVE-766 and microscopic examination was 99.7%. Conclusion After the lab adopted AVE-766 urine visible components analyzer experiment totest on the original rules of the re-examination, the rates of misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis were low, andits coincidence rate with manual microscopy results was high. Thus AVE-766 is clinically feasible and effective.
