The Efficacy Evaluations of Adherence to Endocrine Therapy in Breast Cancer

Adherence can be a major determinant of the therapeutic efficacy of a medication regimen in breast cancer. Adherence to endocrine therapy for hormone receptor-positive breast cancer directly contributed to the success or failure of breast cancer therapy and the prognosis of breast cancer. The accurate evaluation of adherence to endocrine therapy was the key factor to improve outcomes of women with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. It helped to promote adherence by collecting essential feedback from patients. This review aims to elaborate on the efficacy evaluations of adherence to endocrine therapy in hormone receptor-positive breast cancer.
