    Construction of Curriculum System of Clinical Research Methodology: Exploration and Practice

    • Evidence from high-quality clinical research is important for clinical practice. However, the capacity of clinical research in China is currently behind that in developed countries significantly. As scientific theories guide the design, measurement, and evaluation of high-quality clinical research, clinical research methodology as an emerging interdisciplinary discipline is still in its early stage of development in China. It is strategically important and necessary to construct a curriculum system of clinical research methodology that coincides with the national educational systems of China, aiming to cultivate outstanding clinical scientists and improve the capacity of clinical research. This paper, therefore, summarized practical experiences in constructing the curriculum system of clinical research methodology at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, which aimed to provide a reference for further innovation of the curriculum system in China.
