Abstract: The year 2025 has been exceptionally fruitful for lung cancer research. With the release of numerous pivotal clinical trials, novel therapeutic drugs, treatment strategies and concepts have reshaped the treatment landscape of lung cancer, advancing lung cancer treatment from a generalized approach to precision medicine, from advanced stages to early-stage disease, and shifted the ultimate goal from life extension toward potential cure. In this context, determining the optimal treatment sequence and combination for specific patients, as well as developing patient-centered individualized treatment plans, remains a critical challenge for the future. This article provides a concise review of the landmark clinical research progress published in 2025 that has profoundly influenced the field of lung cancer.
