Abstract:
ObjectiveTo analyze the level of total bilirubin(TBIL), unconjugated bilirubin(BU), conjugated bilirubin(BC), δ-bilirubin(Bδ), total protein(TP), albumin(ALB), globulin(GLB) and the ratio of ALB and GLB(A/G) on dry chemical system among healthy children and adolescents aged from 3 months to 18 years old in Shenzhen. MethodsA total of 2 588 healthy children and adolescents aged from 3 months to 18 years were divided into 4 groups: infant group, pre-school group, school age group and youth group. The serum bilirubin and protein in venous blood were detected by dry chemical system, and data were analyzed by statistical methods between different ages and genders. ResultsThe 8 items show no significant differences between boys and girls(
P>0.05). The 8 items show significant differences between in different age groups(
P<0.05), but the Bδ showed no significant difference between infant group and school age group, the TBIL showed no significant difference between pre-school group and youth group (
P>0.05). As the growth of the age, TBIL, BC, Bδ, TP, ALB, GLB has a rising trend, BU, A/G has a downward trend. Conclusion The serum bilirubin and protein have age differences and significantly associated with the change of age in healthy children and adolescents.
