Abstract:
Objective To investigate the application evaluation of preoperative interview in patients with interventional surgery.
Methods A total of 246 interventional patients were included in the study. Preoperative interview was used for observation group to conduct preoperative education, and the routine preoperative education was used in control group. Compare the awareness of interventional knowledge between both groups. A self-developed questionnaire was used for nurse knowledge assessment and a second assessment after training on 17 nurses, to compare their understanding of the interventional surgery before and after training.
Results There are statistically significant differences between each patient groups in preoperative precautions(
χ2=16.814,
P<0.001), postoperative precautions(
χ2=13.624,
P<0.001) and postoperative dietary knowledge(
χ2=23.111,
P<0.001). A test was taken on nurses about interventional surgery before and after training, and the average score was increased from 66.65 to 75.12 after training.
Conclusions Preoperative interview can improve the satisfaction and awareness of interventional knowledge in patients with interventional surgery. Also, training of the nurses according to the contents of the interview form can comprehensively improve the interventional knowledge of the nurses.
